Välkommen till SSG
Swedish Strategic Group (SSG) grundades 2009 och är en stabil och väletablerad ArmA-klan med mellan 20-30 aktiva spelare. I dagsläget fokuserar vi på Arma 3 men kommer i framtiden växla till Arma 4 eller Reforger om det senare får en funktionell editor för att bygga uppdrag. Vi är inriktade på taktisk realism men med ett fokus på att ha roligt tillsammans.
Vi är en “infanteriklan” - vi fokuserar först och främst på infanteriet. Vår klan är byggd utifrån skyttegruppen. Det är skyttegrupperna som ska lösa uppgifterna och vi bygger våra operationer utifrån detta fokus. De specialenheter dvs flygförband, spaningsgrupp och artilleri skall i första hand förstärka den totala upplevelsen för hela kompaniet och skall därför främst verka i samverkan med skyttegrupperna. Målet är att vi skall behöva samarbeta för att lösa uppgifter och har valt ett spelsätt som leder till att stärka denna punkt.
Varje söndag mellan klockan 18-22 spelas en operation som är byggt av vår uppdragsgrupp där briefing, intel och annat av intresse postas i forumet så att alla har en inblick i vilket motstånd vi kommer att möta.

Mission objective was to invade France. Even if it looked uncertain for a long time we managed to put our boots on French soil and claim our own territory. The Germans fought hard but the allied forces were too strong. As we took out the German artillery that bombed the beaches, our boys from the sea successfully secured the beach after sustaining massive casulties. We now gather ourselves and resupply and continue the push into france. The war has just begun and the road to Berlin is long.
4 days after the invasion (June 10, 1944)
We are now getting ready to move out to our next objective. Weapons, ammo, vehicles and personnel are now gathered and gearing up to move further into France. We managed to push the Germans back to a foritifed position about 1 km east from our position and everything after that it is all enemy controlled territory. The Day of Days is upon us. The beaches has been invaded. We have been tasked to do the dirty work behind enemy lines. We will parachute down in the mist of evil. Drop down and kill your enemy. Germans have been fortifying the area severely and the fight will be tough. The Germans are well trained and most of them are war veterans.
Study the map to recognize the AO (area of operations) this include landmarks, towns and roads.

One month ago the brave company сьерра лима managed to singlehandily infiltrate the south eastern parts of Maksniemi like a red mist from the sea! Their bravory did not stop there, after wiping out a heavily fortified position of the pesky westerners they went onward on stolen boats up and inwards through the channel into mainland Maksniemi!
By sheer will and belief in the motherland, they fought through wave after wave of enemies coming from the west and the north! Their fighting resulted in a major victory for the motherland and enabled us to advance into the area with armored vehicles as well as establish logistical supplyroutes.
While the north is reinforced with armored vehicles and heavy infantry from the regular army, we must once again ask you to sacrifce youself for the motherland. The now infamous company of brave men, сьерра лима, is tasked with outflanking the enemy and ravaging through their coastal defenses to the west.
Do this for us and you will be rewarded with your weight in medals!

Colombias president él Mono har begärt stöd av det internationella samfundet pga oroligheter i landet. Då Swedish Strategic Group saknade annan uppgift kommande söndag togs beslutet att skicka oss för att assistera.
Efter en längre tids politisk kris, där valresultatet som ledde fram till él Monos vinst ifrågasatts, anslöt sig en större del av de militära styrkorna till rebellstyrkorna i landet. Detta föranledde ett större inbördeskrig där él Mono lyckats göra stora framsteg genom att slå ned både militären samt den upproriska civilbefolkningen. Signaler från t.ex. Röda korset har skickats om att denna nedslagningen i vissa fall kan ha gått till lite väl våldsamt....
Orsaken till begäran av stöd är att de militära styrkorna, ledda av general él Pendecho, enligt uppgift har fått tillgång till kemiska stridsmedel som de hotar att använda mot huvudstaden om inte él Mono kliver ned och lämnar över makten. The local Slavic population constantly had to fight off the raiders from the southwest, so it was traditionally bound with Russia, but always kept its independence. In the 12th Century it was controlled by dukes, in the 13th century it was united by Taras Kozub. The Kozub dynasty ruled until 1631, when Chernarus joined the Russian empire. After the revolution in 1917 Chernarus became an autonomic federal republic, after the demise of the USSR in 1991 it gained independence.
Discontent with the Chernarussian government's initiative to align itself with the West, a political faction originating out of the South Zagoria region (known as the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star or ChDKZ for short) began to form in protest. The group gathered much traction and support with the northern, pro-Russian minority, eventually gathering enough numbers to transition into a fighting force.
