Vilka är SSG?
SSG grundades 2009 och är en stabil och väletablerad ArmA-klan med båda fötterna på jorden. Vi är inriktade på taktisk realism med ett stenhårt gameface under operationerna men med en välkomnande och avslappnad stämning utanför spel.
Vi lånar till viss mån rutiner och arbetssätt från verkligheten som vi sedan har anpassat till att fungera i spelet med fokus på spelnöje och effektivitet. Vi är dock inte intresserade av hur någonting görs i verkligheten om det begränsar oss istället för att lägga till spelglädje.
Vi spelar ofta i komplexa och krävande situationer. För att bäst lösa de uppgifterna tränar vi varje onsdag personlig färdighet, stridsteknik, kommunikation och samarbete med hjälp av våra instruktörer och chefer. Dessa träningar syftar till att utveckla oss både på spelar-, grupp-, plutons- och kompaninivå.
Vi använder ett hierarkiskt system både i spelet och utanför. Det är dock inte samma personer som styr i spelet och utanför - Plutonledning och Klanledning är särskilda ansvarsområden. Vi har ansvar uppdelat på ett flertal grupper som jobbar mot att förbättra spelupplevelsen och driva klanen framåt. Det är dock fritt för varje medlem att komma med förbättringsförslag till gagn för klanen både i spelsätt, utrustning och addons - vi uppmuntrar engagemang.
Vi brukar övervägande använda svensk utrustning och material men är inte ovana till att även nyttja material från andra länder om vi bedömer att detta är positivt för spelupplevelsen.

Good news everybody! We found the pilots. The bad news - they are being held hostage at the most fortified island and are claimed to be eliminated if we try to assault the island.
We still haven't got the location of the nuclear warhead. The weapon smuggler and terrorist Abdallah Mogashi has known bases in multiple countries making it extremely hard to pinpoint where they have been transported.
The plan is pretty simple:
The islands is being used as a military training ground for Red Star troops. The island on the west side is their only airport that will probably be used by military officers to escape the island. Your job, should you choose to accept it, is first and foremost to destroy and capture this airbase. You will thereafter use boats to transport your infantry to a meeting point where you are to meet me. I'm going to infiltrate the island and search for intel on the best way to secure the swedish pilots. Faktionen Red Star förklarade för två år sen nationen Podagorsk självständig från ryssland men ekonomiska sanktioner ledda av den ryska federationen ledde till en socioekonomisk kollaps. Nationella samfundet vågade först inte kliva in stödja nationen utifrån risken att göra sig fiende med Ryssland. På grund av sanktionerna fick militärjuntan allt svårare att hålla makten i landet och behövde finna inkomstkällor för att överleva.
CIA har snappat upp information om att militärjuntan ledd av general Brawloski har planer att sälja två tidigare ryska kärnvapen till främmande makt. Vem som är köparen är idag okänt men det finns gott om faktioner som är intresserade av att använda dessa mot västerländska mål. För att säkerställa att så inte sker har en kollation ledd av USA getts klartecken att lokalisera och eliminera/återhämta kärnvapnen innan de transporteras ut ur landet. Ryssland vägrar känna till att kärnvapnen ens existerar men har valt att inte blanda sig in i konflikten.

2012 tog General Vanderbelt över det lilla landet Thrisk. Genom en våldsam statskupp lyckades generalen att överta landet med den milis han hade. Statens armé var illa utrustad och väldigt få till antalet. Vilket gjorde det lätt för Generalen att ta över. Under tiden som Gen. Vanderbelt lett landet har arbetslösheten kommit upp till 56%
Fattigdomen är total. 8 år har passerat och under tiden som Generalen har styrt har han haft mer än väl kontakt med Ryssland och står under deras hjälp genom att bistå med utrustning. Allt från kläder, vapen samt fordon. Idag, har generalen en armé. Ryktet säger att det ska finnas en grupp med spetsnaz som bevakar Generalen.
SSG har mottaget ett brev via NATO som slank igenom den hårda utgående korrespondent lagen.

It all began years ago. Small actions of violence against authorities and subtle efforts to disrupt our democratic processes during elections. After a year or two with social and traditional media being flooded with hate and skewed news, the populace started to sway towards a certain neighbouring country, Russia.
All of a sudden, a declaration from Russia came with the intent to defend their citizens, all citizens including these who live abroad. Virolathi has a small populace and even smaller part of them are of russian decent. This was all very troublesome that a super power declares intent to defend its citizens with any means, if nessesary. Following this, multiple grassroot movements and groups liked to violence and terror acts really ramped up. Before we knew it, russia had military on our borders and apparently, a civillian milita had taken over leadership and declared a soverign country of Virolatsky. The old country of Virolathi, was now a puppet of Russia and in an open war with the Finnish. This triggered russia to invade our borders and set up proper military installations.

In line with the threat picture over Scandinavia increasing in 2015, a clearer military cooperation agreement was initiated between the Nordic countries. Nordic Battlegroup opened a branch with a specialty to act quickly throughout Scandinavia with a complete focus directed at the threat in the east. A couple of years ago, political rhetoric escalated. The Russian state referred to an old document in which the small area of Virolahti in Finland would legally belong to them. The action was initially ignored, but the bear in the east continued its harsh rhetorical line. The Government of Finland chose to invite a summit between the two nations where the peculiar demands should be rejected and to ensure the authenticity of the document.
