Välkommen till SSG
Swedish Strategic Group (SSG) grundades 2009 och är en stabil och väletablerad ArmA-klan med mellan 20-30 aktiva spelare. I dagsläget fokuserar vi på Arma 3 men kommer i framtiden växla till Arma 4 eller Reforger om det senare får en funktionell editor för att bygga uppdrag. Vi är inriktade på taktisk realism men med ett fokus på att ha roligt tillsammans.
Vi är en “infanteriklan” - vi fokuserar först och främst på infanteriet. Vår klan är byggd utifrån skyttegruppen. Det är skyttegrupperna som ska lösa uppgifterna och vi bygger våra operationer utifrån detta fokus. De specialenheter dvs flygförband, spaningsgrupp och artilleri skall i första hand förstärka den totala upplevelsen för hela kompaniet och skall därför främst verka i samverkan med skyttegrupperna. Målet är att vi skall behöva samarbeta för att lösa uppgifter och har valt ett spelsätt som leder till att stärka denna punkt.
Varje söndag mellan klockan 18-22 spelas en operation som är byggt av vår uppdragsgrupp där briefing, intel och annat av intresse postas i forumet så att alla har en inblick i vilket motstånd vi kommer att möta.

Last week our platoon successfully hit the strategic hill and fulfilled every task from HQ. Our platoon managed, through extreme effectiveness, push back all NVA troops in our area of operation. Even though we lost many good boys out there we can stand tall and proud.
Unfortunately, shortly after orders to return to FOB , we received worrying reports from FOB OUTCOME. 4th platoon at FOB OUTCOME, responsible for the northern area of operation, has been overun by NVA troops. INTEL and maps retrieved from escaped wounded soldiers of 4th platoon indicate that NVA is planning for an imminent massive attack.
It is also said that surviving US troops from the platoon has been taken to an execution camp. The location of this is unfortunately unknown at the moment. Now, being the last line of defense our platoon has received orders to stand our ground and fulfill any given orders from HQ untill reinforcements have arrived.

We will hit a strategic target this day. Other platoons have already seized multible targets in our Area of Operation. Our task is to secure VC base just beneath the hill of Chamkar Yeak. It is of utmost importancy that our platoon succeeds. US HeadQuarters rely on us and the whole operation is dependent on our delivery before further strategic and tactical actions can take place. We also believe that vital information regarding VC and NVA troop movements can be found at this base.
Due to extensive recon during the last week we have also come to the conclusion that the nearby village is VC-friendly and that they were most involved in the tragedy regarding 3rd Platoon. Intel from LRRPs can confirm this.
We have been informed by HQ that the platoon will undertake a patrol through the village before any action on
Objective Hill Of Chamkar Yeak. HQ also states quite clear that any evidence of VC activity shall result in a complete annihilation of the entire village. Show of force is Imperative!

The year 1968 saw major developments in the Vietnam War. The military operations started with an attack on a US base by
the North Vietnamese People’s Army of Vietnam (PAVN) and the Viet Cong (VC) on January 1, ending a truce declared by the
Pope and agreed upon by all sides. At the end of January, the PAVN and VC launched the Tet Offensive.

[center]Vinjesvingen som ligger strax väster om den norska gränsen till sverige har under det senaste året fallit till den radikala gruppen, Norske kamp mot frihet (NKF). I början av året stormade NKF in i Vinjesvingen. Det fanns enbart bristande försvar i området vilket ledde till att det norska försvaret tog försvar på flygfältet.
NKF:s tagande av Vinjesvingen har lett till oro bland civilbefolkningen. Ett flertal civila har blivit tagna av NKF, resterande har mest troligt lämnat området. NKF har uttnytjat tiden väl genom att befästa sig över hela området. Med Vinjesvingen under deras kontroll har dem lyckats importera olika vapensystem. Detta har lett till att NKF har blivit starkare & farligare än vad dem tigare varit.
Det svenska kompaniet Sierra Lima har varit stationerade öster om gränsen. Nu har ett sammarbete mellan Sverige & Norge bildats. Sierra Lima har flyttats till FOB Vinje i Vinjesvingen. Tillsammans med dem norska styrkorna skall dem slå ut NKF ur Vinjesvingen. Det svenska kompaniet Sierra Lima skall slå mot NKF på den västra sidan av floden medans nors...

The nation of Podagorsk has been brewing for a civilwar for a long time. Tensions are strong between the many citizens from Chernarussian decent and the sitting autocratic ruler, the former general Herz Mladíc. He rules the nation with an iron fist and has long been implementing harsh laws that mostly aims to reduce the freedom and landownership of the many citizens with Chernarussian heritage.
Two years ago, a series of violent attacks against governmental buildings and important infrastructure was attributed to militagroups linked to Chernarussian political groups, forced President Herz to deploy the Podagorsk army and declare a national emergency. This only fed the fire and soon a bloody civil war broke out between armed civilians and the Podagorsk army.
The neighbouring country of Chernarus did not take the slaughtering of their relatives kindly and soon deployed their own troops on the northern border of Podagorsk and amassed a large invasionfleet by the coast. An ultimatum was given to President Herz and his army:
