Operation: Road To Nowhere
We are back in Kujari for another effort against the insurgency. This time the task of keeping the peace and performing governmental tasks falls on the private military company ION.
They have had a presence in country for a couple of months now and are primarily tasked with prison transport, escourting civilian convoys and securing IDAP fieldhospitals.
The country of Kujari is a treacherous mix of desert and djungle. The people are not easy to trust and there is in reality no official government, merely puppets with no real power. The real power comes from the hundreds of local tribes, often just the men from the local village with an old AK and a couple of mags. But when they band together, with vast knowledge of the terrain, they are a formiddable force.
The local tribes, hostile or not, are not to be underestimated nor trusted.
The local ION taskforce consists of three infantry squads, backed up by artillery, rotarywing and a reconsquad.
They have lightly armored vehicles and small arms to our disposal.
The task given by the local government is to transport 12 captured insurgents from the town of Danashiwa. The prisoners are currently held by the local police. We are to do a pick up, without payment and transport these 12 prisoners to one of the tribal leaders in Samari who are somewhat loyal to the government.
The route has been pre-planned and is to be follow exactly to allow for other friendly military forces to follow our progress and verify we dont go off plan.
Furthermore we have three other tasks on our checklist. A bunch of IDAP personell has gone missing or been captured. Some of them has been held captives for a couple of months and their families are now ready to pay a hefty sum for their return. Therefor, we are to assault two known insurgent strongholds where we know these IDAP personell is being held captive.
There's also this suspected IED factory we need to shut down. It is costing us greatly to buy new wheels for half our vehicles everytime we go on a convoy escourt mission.

Re: Operation: Road To Nowhere
