Situation:
Tensions between the two nations have reached their peak in the crisis region on the border between Karzeghistan and Takistan. At the heart of the conflict is a territorial dispute over oil-rich areas in Karzeghistan claimed by the Royal Takistani Army.

Tasked with securing a suitable landing zone for the succeeding NATO forces, the US command identified Aliabad as an ideal location due to its strategic location and lack of key military bases.

1st MARINE REGIMENT alias ROOK, ECHO COMPANY in focus here, has the task of landing with 2 platoons near Abad in the ALIBAD AREA, breaking through the enemy defenses and advancing to the enemy battalion command post in order to take it. It is also to be set up there for defense until ALPHA has caught up with FOXTROT COMPANY.
