GLOBAL SITUATION:
After the division of Vietnam in 1954 and manipulated elections by the prime minister of south Vietnam Ngô Đình Diệm a civil war erupted that raged from 1955 to 1964. The Việt Minh which later became the NLF tried to overthrow the anti-socialist Party and reunite the south with the north. The NFL was supported by communist regime of Hồ Chí Minh and Lê Duẩn in the North.
The government of the south received more and more support from the USA. The US-Governments of president Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon feared that the communists could take over Southeast Asia if they would take Vietnam.
President Lyndon B. Johnson started bombing north Vietnam in 1965 after the Gulf of Tonkin incident. In the following months of March, more and more us-troops were deployed to combat the NLF in South Vietnam.
SITUATION:
Special Forces in deep trouble. Troops of the 1st Special Forces Command were sent to camp a Luoi and were met with heavy contact. The special forces were deployed to camp A Luoi a few days ago to liberate the surrounding Villages and free the residents that are held captive by members of the NVA. It looks like the NVA got wind of our plan and doesn't like it. They started attacking our Camp with everything they have. Many soldiers stationed in Camp A Luoi were wounded or killed. At the moment, the Camp is defended by only 10 Members of the 1st Special Forces Command, and they seem to be running out of ammo soon. So they won't be able to hold the camp much longer without support. The Closest F.O.B´s Quan Loi and Kon Tum have trouble on their own and can't send troops, so we have to mobilize troops from F.O.B Ho Ngoc Tao further south.
OBJECTIVEs:
1st Special Forces Command:
Defend Camp A Luoi with everything you have. Use the artillery support from F.S.B Berchtesgaden to get the advantage. You need to hold until the reinforcements from the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade arrive from F.O.B Ho Ngoc Tao. They will carry additional Ammo and supplies
1st Air Cavalry Brigade:
Mobilize the troops a fast as possible and move to Camp A Luoi. Supply the troops that are left with ammo and supplies, and help them send those bastards back to hell. After you repelled the attack on the Camp, integrate the Units in your ranks, secure the surrounding villages and free those civilians.
